Using stash for baby things...and more FO's

This is for God's Tiny Angels. I am doing an Angel Wings Newborn Pinafore in the same stash-busting yarn! I don't have progress pics of that, though!

The rest of what you see is using up yarn that I either had sitting or got for particular project!

I also started Something Red from Knit n Tonic's website. I call it Something Off-White. I have more done since this picture was taken:

And I have also started an EZ Tomten Jacket! I am doing it in Pound of Love:

Not much to look at, but I am plugging away at it....it takes 40 rows of garter (which is fast enough) on size 7 needles and that is what takes so long!

More stash...gone!

Okay...here is the Angelwings Ripple Sweater all finished. I did buy some deeper pink grosgraine ribbon for the neck edge and it's all tried on and fits! Yay!

I used some hot pink Bernat Chunkee to make the square bunny rabbit:

From UFO to New FO

I finished what was originally my second knitting project. Got it stitched up, felted, grommeted...only to discover the handle was to big for the grommets. I put a smaller cord in the handle and it's all good now. The bag turned out smaller than I expected, especially since I use a front-loading washer. I ran it through twice, I think, because the seams weren't felting up nicely. Now it's fixed, even though it's the size of a large purse rather than a real tote bag. It's good for small projects or belly dancing stuff.

New Stash Reducer..

The crochet Tesellating fish blanket pattern! Okay....knitting them was...well...boring and awful and time consuming. However, crocheting? I whipped this one up in about 10 minutes! And with all the one skeins of Simply Soft in my bins? Yeeeeesssssss...stash busting will commence!

And that's if I can pull myself away from my other projects to do it, ha, ha, ha...

Here is my first official crocheted fish in pink Simply Soft from stash! Remote is to show actual size of these monstah fish!!!!

In other stash busting news...I made these for God's Tiny Angels to donate:

Adding to the stash (Bad!)

I went shopping the other day because I *needed* to. I picked up two hanks of Berocco Ultra Alpaca in peat to make a balaclava for my hubby. I'm using this helmetliner pattern. I've made a couple of these for the troops and they are a quick and easy knit, and they fit well to boot.

I also got one skein of Brown Sheep worsted in sandy heather, to got with the bronze and black for a vest sweater in the same issue of Vogue Knitting that has the marshmallow sweater pattern in it. Just one example of needing to increase the stash in order to decrease the stash.

Two stash scarves...

The first one is odds and ends, crocheted and self-fringing (even though I added fringe as well...I like fringe...). The bad thing about this is that I will probably end up needing the grey to finish the felted tote bag, since the handle isn't small enough. Can't have too much grey yarn, right? Anyway, I love this scarf...it goes with everything. I used up all of the grey Galway, all of the turkish olive Brown Sheep Bulky, the last little bit of the Baby Alpaca Grande, and a little bit of some other stuff which still has scraps in the bin.

I also made a ferret scarf for the little guy, and used up a bit of the Brown Sheep Worsted in red, rust, and prairie fire. It is darn cute, if I say so myself, and the little guy loves it.

Used more Stash!

I bought a pattern, the capelet shrug from Diane Langon http://www.dianelangan.com/crochetpatterns/largeviews/zigcape.html

And used some stash for my mom's capelet, Homespun Gothic. I also made one for myself in Homespun Baroque. I love how they came out and fit!!!!

Here is me in mine:

I also used some baby yarn in my stash for GTA donation - crocheted shirt and hat:

Two WIP - Done!

Yay! And I started another project - the Lionbrand Curtain Call Shrug last night!

Here is my wrap sweater....sorry, the details on the whole thing are not clear...I'm wearing it, but it's dark. Chopped head = hair not done and no makeup...sorry! :) It is a bad picture...but for posterity....it's done! lol

And the Cameron Scarf for Karen is finished, too!

Tami's New WIP

I frogged the pink angel hair Dew Drop scarf. The pattern is beautiful. The yarn is beautiful. The both together? Not so beautiful. Yarn wasn't showing off the pattern to it's best advantage at all. So, I am using this pattern: http://http://www.smallknits.com/angus%20angular%20scarf.htm and the picture is how it looks so far. Pattern and yarn are better matched, now.

I also sewed in the first sleeve on the wrap sweater I am working on from a knitting magazine pattern. I cast on for the second sleeve and am almost 1/2 done with that one. (sorry, the lighting isn't conducive to the pic you see below)
And then the third thing I started this weekend is this scarf for my sister, Karen: http://http://www.wolfandturtle.net/Yarnpath/index.php/Yarnpath/the_cameron_scarf/

I'm keeping myself very busy, lol.....
